Return to Online Worship ONLY for January / No In-Person Worship

RETURN TO ALL LIVE STREAM WORSHIP FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2022
Dear Friends and Parishioners:
In light of the latest COVID-19 and Omincron variant levels (particularly on the Southcoast) I have made the decision in consultation with our parish Leadership Team to return to LIVE STREAM WORSHIP ONLY.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, there will be NO IN-PERSON WORSHIP during the month of January. We will continue to assess the local situation and provide updates as needed.
Our primary responsibility is to care for the health, safety and well-being of our faith community. In the midst of this health crisis, we need to care for those who are most vulnerable. It is our responsibility as the people of God to slow the spread of the virus for the sake of other people in our community.
So, during the month of January, we will not meet in person for public worship, programs or meetings.
We ask all of our parishioners to please be mindful of Christian Stewardship and to continue to financially support our parish.
We still have payroll to meet, insurance bills to pay, utility bills and contracts to uphold.
We encourage you to sign-up for ONLINE GIVING on our website. If you do not participate in Online Giving, we ask you to mail in your pledge and your weekly contribution in your weekly budget envelope to the parish office: St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 351 Elm Street, Dartmouth, MA 02748.
We are confident that this will be a temporary move and that this is the right thing to do to protect one another especially the most vulnerable.
Let us pray that the Spirit of God will lead us and strengthen us as we move forward.
Please be mindful as well of our Christian responsibility to care for one another by staying updated with our vaccine boosters! Getting the vaccine is our Christian responsibility and is what Jesus means when he says “Love Your Neighbor.”
Thank you for your undestanding and patience. We are confident that our parishioners will support this important decision to care for one another.
Peace,
(Rev.) Scott A. Ciosek
