Covid-19 Updates @ St. Peter’s Effective Immediately

UPDATED COVID GUIDELINES @ ST. PETER’S

The CDC now advises that fully vaccinated persons wear a mask when gathered together in indoor public places as we are faced with the more transmissible Delta variant of the virus.

Effective Sunday, August 8, we will now require all parishioners to wear a mask when attending our Service of Holy Eucharist whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated. Masks should be worn by everyone throughout the entire service unless unable due to a medical condition or for those under 2 years of age. If you do not have a mask when you come to church, we will provide one for you.

We ask you to be particularly mindful to maintain social distancing when receiving communion by following the decals on the floor.

A good portion of Bristol County now lies in the “substantial” or “high” areas of community transmission. The recent increase virus transmission, especially with the Delta variant. It is a reminder that we are still in a pandemic and we have the responsibility to care for each other. This is being done for the protection of the local community.
We will continue to monitor Covid-19 advisories and update you on a regular basis.

Thank you for your cooperation.
