Worship at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church
Worship is where we encounter God and offer God our praise and thanksgiving. Worship is for God alone. The Greek word “liturgy” means “the work of the people.” Our service of Holy Eucharist each Sunday is the highlight of our life together at St. Peter’s. All of our ministries at St. Peter’s are rooted in our worship because God sends us forth to do his work in the world.
Our primary worship service is Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 10:30am in our church.
This service is a joy-filled and dynamic celebration of the Holy Eucharist using contemporary language. We use Rite II of the Book of Common Prayer and prayers from “Enriching our Worship.” We honor our traditions and always look for new ways to worship.
Our music ministry (piano, drums and guitar) leads us in song and we are a church that believes that our worship needs to be the best we have to offer to God.
Children, toddlers and infants are part of our worshiping community and young families are always welcome! We always welcome to joyful sounds of children!
